Association for Social Transformation and Humanitarian Assistance (ASTHA) Nepal had successfully accomplished project titled Demonstration on Outward Sloping Terrace Land Husbandry for Combating on Land Degradation (DOSTLanHCLD) with the funding support from Global environment facility small Grants programe of united nations Development programe. Initiated in Benighat VDC from June 2012 to 2014, the project had contributed to reduce poverty of indigenous chepangs and women members by improving sloping terraces, promoting animal husbandry and conserving forest.

To establish social justice of rural, poor and marginalize people, raise awereness for the gurantee of rights, search for sources for the development of skills and knowledge, increase access to local resources and make them competent in managing it to fulfil long term basic requirements.
